Where other sources differ

  • Independent supplementary practice based on published training material. Our 20-question, 20-minute sessions and six-unit allocation are site choices, not a verified national examination blueprint.
  • Confirm question count, timing, pass mark, language and fees with your school. The reviewed handbook is a 2022 document; a 2025 upload path does not establish a newer edition. Current legal rules take precedence over historical training summaries.

How to register

  1. Use the official Absher route to choose an authorised driving school and follow its booking instructions.
  2. Follow the school’s assessment, eligibility and required theory-training instructions; confirm the actual test arrangements before booking.
  3. After passing theory, follow the school’s practical-training appointments and remaining official licensing requirements.

Frequently asked questions

Are these the official test questions?

No. Original practice grounded in the trainee handbook and published rules; no leaked papers.

Can I try Driving Theory questions for free?

Yes. Free questions: a 10-question diagnostic test covering the main units, no sign-up; at the end you get your score and your weakest units. The free practice test page lists the same questions with answers and an explanation for every option. The rest of the questions and the full mock exams come with a pass from SAR 26.

What makes this Driving Theory question bank different?

Question bank: A site supplementary practice session of 20 questions in 20 minutes with a result for every unit, plus 500 explained questions across 6 units, every option explained, a review of your mistakes, and two ways to practise: see the answer right away, or sit a full timed mock. Every question is reviewed and referenced, ready to practise on your phone. Try the free questions and read the explanations before buying full access.

Why are there sign images?

Sign recognition is part of driving preparation. Our original sign drawings teach standard meanings and are checked against primary diagrams; they are not copied official artwork.

In which languages is the test given?

Our practice is available in Arabic and English. Confirm the actual exam language with your authorised school; the reviewed material did not establish one universal language rule.

Is this an official site, and how do I pay?

It is an independent site, not part of Qiyas or any government body, and every question is reviewed before it is published. You pay once, with no automatic renewal, through Waffo Pancake (the merchant of record) by Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay or Google Pay, and your statement shows "WAFFO". If you were charged twice or the pass did not open, email support@saudiexams.com.

Study material sample: Traffic signs and markings

Summary

Read each sign as a message: identify the family, interpret the visible symbol, and choose a response that does not invent an unseen condition. Connect signs to temporary controls, markings and traffic lights.

What the exam focuses on

  • Distinguish warning, prohibition, mandatory movement and information.
  • Recognize hazards from pictograms rather than memorized answer wording.
  • Apply temporary signs, cancellation, line and signal rules with their conditions.

Common traps

  • Shape and color classify the message; the internal symbol identifies the actual hazard or restriction.
  • A yellow worker warning is not a detour arrow; temporary narrowing does not depict a worker.
  • A locomotive does not prove gates are installed, and raised gates alone do not establish a safe crossing.
Show 3 more
  • The end of one posted limit does not cancel general speed limits or other restrictions.
  • A broken line does not authorize an overtake without adequate visibility and a safe return.
  • Steady yellow means stop when safe; flashing yellow is a different signal.

Red triangle versus blue circle?

Warning of a hazard versus a mandatory direction or route; read the pictogram too.

What makes a work-area warning temporary in the cited handbook?

Yellow background with a red border; the symbol still identifies the message.

Does a worker symbol require a detour?

No. It warns of roadworks; a detour needs its own instruction.

What does a cancelled 80 restriction leave in force?

Applicable general limits, other signs and safe speed for the conditions.

Blue-circle bicycle versus triangle bicycle?

Compulsory bicycle route versus a warning involving cyclists or their crossing.

Steady yellow: prepare or stop?

Stop if it can be done without endangering road users.

Flashing red versus flashing yellow?

Flashing red has a stop-sign meaning; flashing yellow requires great caution.
