Choose the right test

Use the electronic services linked from ETEC’s official exam page. Select the Student Counseling specialty when it is offered for your eligible specialization. The general educational test is a separate booking. Read the location, delivery format and dates shown in your own beneficiary profile before payment.

Budget for the bookings

ETEC’s current FAQ lists SAR 100 for the specialty test and SAR 100 for the General Educational Test. These are test fees. Check any licence issuance or other service charge in the official service before paying it; booking a test alone does not issue a professional licence.

Prepare for entry

The official FAQ accepts the Saudi national ID or non-Saudi residence permit, a personal passport, or a Saudi driving licence. Check the current appointment instructions and validity of your document. Calculators are prohibited in both general and specialty tests. Follow the arrival time shown in the booking notice.

Interpret the result correctly

The current scoring page defines the result as correct answers divided by total questions, multiplied by 100. It gives cutoffs 50 for Practitioner,70 for Advanced and 80 for Expert. The applicable licence rank also depends on both test results, qualification and experience under the regulations. A practice result on this site is a study aid and does not confer a licence.
