A six-week routine
Weeks 1–2: HR Operations — records, privacy, metrics, HRIS and job documents. Week 3: Recruitment and Selection. Week 4: Employee Relations, Health and Safety. Week 5: Compensation and Benefits, then Development and Retention. Week 6: mixed timed practice and review of mistakes.
Practise the calculations
Be able to work out turnover rate, cost per hire, compa-ratio, overtime pay and training ROI from numbers given in a question.
Think internationally
aPHRi is not about one country's law. When a question gives a local rule, apply that rule; otherwise choose the generally accepted HR practice.
About this practice bank
These are original practice questions written for this site. They are not HRCI questions, and the real exam also uses formats such as multiple-response and drag-and-drop that this bank does not reproduce.
