Try 10 free questions and see your levelCME-3A covers global technical securities knowledge and is separate from the Saudi regulatory unit CME-3B. The reference syllabus is Securities Level 3 Version 25, effective from 22 March 2026.

Allocate revision time
Start with institutions and market distinctions, then give asset classes the largest block. Study issuance and secondary trading together, followed by corporate actions and settlement. Finish with accounting and investment management. Weightings guide time allocation without making small elements optional.
Practise calculations
Calculate current yield, accrued interest, rights issues and financial ratios. State units and day-count assumptions, and separate clean from dirty prices. Review conceptual errors separately from arithmetic errors.
Before the appointment
The specification is 100 questions in two hours, with a 70% pass mark. CISI may add unscored trial questions with proportionate extra time. Check candidate updates and the version appropriate to the booked language and date.
