Registering for SHRM-CP from Saudi Arabia

Choose the correct level

SHRM-CP addresses operational HR work: carrying out policies, supporting daily HR activities and acting as an HR contact. A degree, HR job title and prior HR experience are not required to apply; basic HR knowledge is recommended. SHRM-SCP has different strategic-level eligibility requirements.

Apply and book

Select SHRM-CP and your intended testing window on SHRM’s certification site. Complete the application, accept the candidate policies and pay. Check that your name matches your valid government-issued identification. After approval, your Authorization to Test (ATT) provides the details needed to book with Prometric. Payment alone does not reserve a test-center appointment.

Confirm your language

Saudi residents can take the Arabic version. SHRM assigns the translated form to residents of designated Arabic-speaking countries; candidates who want English must request it in writing from SHRM. Check the language shown in your arrangements before test day.

Plan the test session

Bring the required original, valid government identification with photo and signature. If one is missing, follow SHRM’s secondary-ID requirements. The test has two separate 110-minute sections; spare time does not transfer, and a completed section cannot be reopened. The 134 questions include 24 unscored items, which are not identified. Answer every question on its merits.

Understand the result

You receive a preliminary outcome at the center and normally retrieve your official result after two to three weeks. Passing candidates receive a reported scaled score of 200. A practice percentage is not an equivalent scaled score. An unsuccessful candidate may apply again in a future window and pay the full exam fee.
