CAPM has 150 questions in 180 minutes, including 15 unscored pretest questions. Their positions are not identified to candidates. There is a 10-minute break after questions 1–75 have been completed and reviewed. Once that section is submitted for the break, you cannot return to it.
Formats
Prepare for selected-response questions, including multiple-response examples, drag-and-drop matching and possible hotspots. PMI also describes animation and comic-strip scenarios. Online-proctored candidates receive comic-strip scenarios instead of animations to avoid audio issues.
At the center
Follow the appointment confirmation and identification rules. The June 2026 handbook directs candidates to check in 30 minutes before the appointment. A calculator is built into the computer-based exam. Do not bring your own aids without authorization.
Results
The computer-based score report includes an overall result and domain feedback. Use the PMI report for certification status. Practice scores from this independent site are for revision only.
