SMLE assesses readiness for medical practice and further training; it is not a specialty Saudi Board final examination.
Apply and schedule
Apply through the SCFHS eligibility service, then book using the scheduling permit. The eligibility service lists SAR 120; this is not a verified total examination fee. Check the seat price before payment. Bring the permit and valid identification whose name matches.
Format
There are two blocks of 100 single-best-answer questions, each allowing 120 minutes, separated by a 30-minute break. Up to 10% may be pilot items.
Results
The pass score is 560 on a 200–800 scale. Do not convert it into a required raw percentage. Results are normally released 2–6 weeks after the window closes. Confirm dates and eligibility details with SCFHS before booking.
